Sara Day

Sara has been feeling a little down-in-the-dumps lately so Mike and I decided to surprise her with her own Sara Day this past weekend. We wanted it to be a surprise so we fibbed to her just a little bit. On Saturday morning we told her we were going to my mom and dad's house for lunch. As soon as we pulled up in the driveway we told her that we were leaving Emma with my parents and she, Mike and I were going to spend the day doing something very fun! What came next I totally expected (from me anyway)...TEARS and cries of NO! lol She hates surprises, just like her mommy, so it took a little convincing to get her out of her comfort zone but finally once we dropped off Emma and were on our way, she snuck in a few smiles. So our plan was to go Mini-golfing, lunch then taking her to get her ears pierced.

Ok, so after we were done golfing, Sara got overheated and got sick in the bathroom. So with a quick jaunt to grandma and grandpa's house to cool down and have a drink and a quick trip to Target for a new outfit, we were off to lunch!

It was a great day I just wish she hadn't gotten sick in the beginning there. Oh well. We have planned to go back and do the bumper cars this time...only when it cools down.
